The Te Ao Whaanga camp rests on sacred Maori land neighboring Solscape, offering a small selection of powered campervan sites and unpowered campervan & tent sites in a simplistic and beautiful area.
This area is much like a DOC campground, with basic facilities only.
There is an indoor / outdoor kitchen and dining area with dining table, preparation benches, storage cubicles and gas cook top.
Campground guests are required to bring their own: pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and night lights (there is no lighting in the camp facilities).
The area also includes toilets and cold-water showers (hot water showers are available at the accommodations communal facilities hub).
