Your west coast retreat

For facilitators, groups and events. The Tui Room and rustic accommodation on a living ten-acre property by the sea.

Our venue

A ten-acre eco property in Raglan, and a natural home for retreats. Facilitators host in the Tui Room — our light-filled space that opens to the sea — with beds for the whole group and garden-to-table catering. Two hours from Auckland, 45 minutes from Hamilton.

Solscape is a living, working property — the café’s open, the Solspring sauna is steaming, and other guests drift through the gardens. We have our own gentle rhythm, and you’ll find yours too.

Who gathers here

Your retreat, your space

Wellness

Bring your yoga, breathwork or healing retreat. You hold the programme; we’ll hold the space, the beds, and the food.

Surf

World-class point breaks on the doorstep — Manu Bay, Whale Bay, Indicators — with Ngarunui Beach to find your feet. The ocean sets the timetable.

Corporate

Out of the office, onto the coast. Yoga, a surf, a sauna, long lunches in the gardens — we pull it together, the team just shows up.

What your retreat includes

Most facilitators hire the Tui Room and accommodation for their group. We build the details around your programme.

  • Sol Kitchen catering — organic, mostly plant-based, much of it garden-grown
  • Ten acres of gardens, bush and coastline to roam
  • Sauna, warm soak & cold plunge on site via Solspring
  • Sol Kitchen café — open to your group and other visitors alike

Where your group sleeps

Eco accommodation, tucked into the land

Hand-built earth domes, restored railway cabooses and the self-contained Overlander — room for the whole group to stay together.

Good to know

Retreat & group questions

What do you hire for a retreat at Solscape?
You hire the Tui Room — our light-filled yoga and workshop space with a full sea view — along with accommodation for your group. Sol Kitchen can cater or you are welcome to cook your own meals in our communal kitchen. Solscape stays a living property during your retreat: the café, the Solspring sauna and other guests carry on around you, creating warmth throughout our amenities.
Will other guests be on site during our retreat?
Yes. Solscape is a working eco property, so alongside your group there are usually other guests staying, plus day visitors to Sol Kitchen café and the Solspring sauna.
How far is Solscape from Auckland?
Solscape is in Raglan, about a 2 hour 15 minute drive from central Auckland and roughly 45 minutes from Hamilton. That makes it one of the closest coastal retreat settings to Auckland while still feeling a world away.
What kind of retreats does Solscape host?
All kinds. Yoga, breathwork and wellness facilitators bring their own programme and we hold the space. Surf and adventure groups come for the point breaks on our doorstep. Teams head out of the office for a reset by the coast, and we’ll shape the day around wellness and connection. And if what you’re planning doesn’t fit a neat box — a writing workshop, an art course, a gathering all your own — we’re open to it. Tell us what you have in mind.
Does Solscape cater for retreat groups?
Yes. Sol Kitchen caters retreats with organic, largely plant-based food, much of it grown in Solscape’s own permaculture gardens. Menus are built with you around dietary needs and the rhythm of your programme. You are also welcome to bring your own meals and utilize our communal kitchen.
